As a teacher consultant and student services counselor in a highly regarded, culturally and socio-economically diverse suburban school district, Judy worked with students and their families to help students reach their full academic potential. Now Judy is an independent consultant who works with public and private schools, and directly with families and students, including those with:

Using an individualized approach, she enables children and adults of all ages to achieve academic, career – and ultimately – personal success. Judy does this by helping them gain insights into their own styles of learning and by:
- Making recommendations for reasonable and appropriate accommodations or modifications for the students with or without an IEP or 504 Plan
- Providing short-term counseling to re-establish self-esteem and motivation
- Helping students understand and accept how they perceive and process information and how to manage and maximize their capabilities
- Serving as an advocate to encourage parents, teachers, counselors and school administrators to recognize and maximize the inherent gifts of children who may be viewed as difficult or challenging
- Bridging communication between family and school
