Coaching for College Students (or Adults in the Workplace)

When an individual appears to lack attention to detail and does poorly with time management and organization, it helps to have assistance provided by a knowledgeable individual who is not a family member.

Areas of difficulty typically include:

  • Identifying all the important requirements included in the syllabus (or project plan)
  • Scheduling adequate time for assignments and study
  • Coordinating one’s schedule to include socializing, work, nutrition, classes and study
  • Knowing how to use one’s strengths to support the comparative weaknesses
  • Reducing perfectionistic tendencies, stress and anxiety
  • Maintaining motivation
  • Making overwhelming assignments manageable (i.e.: large quantities of reading, research papers or other projects)
  • Advocating for oneself, including accessing the available support at the ADA/504 office

Judy can provide the required coaching and strategies for this student or employee. Support can be provided in person, by phone or with video.
